Recently I’ve noticed that I make a lot of assumptions and surprisingly some of them can be very small indeed. I noticed this especially when I saw a street sign; I completely misunderstood its meaning. The sign was for a café and I thought it was indicating an arrow for where to park. Continue reading

Where did my echo go?
I’m standing at the top of a gorge and yell out “Cooee” and in anticipation I wait for the echo…… nothing. Usually I hear my call out back as an echo. I straighten myself out and stand tall and yell out even louder “Cooee”. A short wait and yet I hear nothing. I’m getting frustrated now and I shout even louder as my lungs feel like they are going to burst “COOEE, COOEE, COOEE” exasperated I wait and still I hear nothing, not a glimmer not even a faint hint of a returning voice. What happened to my echo? Where did it go? Continue reading
A time to talk – what a pain in the neck (NOT)
Amongst the everyday the mind copes will all kinds of things, good and bad. At any time, there could be something/s that make life seem more overwhelming.

The requirement of change
The status quo always remains unchanged, otherwise it would not be the status quo.
So, what do we expect confronted with aspects of life that perhaps need change? Do we simply wait in hope that change will come and in a good way?
In the small everyday things through to the larger matters of life, are we going to contribute to bring about good change or keep waiting?
P.s. there is an open invitation to contribute to change, the world wants you involved.
Life through the Kaleidoscope – Learning to understand each other
A Kaleidoscope is an amazing thing; using light, shape, colour and mirrors to create unique beautiful patterns
Do you remember the first time using a Kaleidoscope? Putting the eye-piece to your eye, pointing it to the light and turning the device to make such amazing patterns. As one pattern vanishes another appears, an endless array of mesmerising patterns. Continue reading
Left or Right (perhaps neither)
Being on the left or the right is easy, to be centred though requires working hard, persistence, patience, and courage.
